No.1 Courtyard Cottage
To the rear of the Pub is a secluded courtyard bordered by a traditional Yorkshire stone cottage that contains six cosy
bedrooms, all are en suite with colour TV and tea and coffee facilities. A good night's sleep is assured with no need to worry about being above a busy bar, and in the morning a freshly cooked breakfast will set you up for another day.
All our rooms are double beds as standard but some of the rooms are available as Family rooms or twins - please call for further details.
Two of the rooms are ground floor level and are ideal for less mobile visitors.
One is en-suite with a bath and built in shower, while the other has a walk in shower. Please ask for further details when booking.
However, please note that these are not rooms with disabled facilities, merely they are more accessible. There are also two small steps into the cottage and another small one inside it.
Pets
Well behaved dogs are accepted in certain rooms for a small charge of £20 but we do expect owners to be considerate and treat the rooms with respect.
We are happy to provide dog towels to dry and clean your pet before they enter the cottage to limit any additional cleaning being required. We ask that furry companions are not allowed onto the beds. Please remember that the next guest in the room may not be a dog lover and we respectfully ask you to keep this in mind. Dogs are welcome in the bar but not in the dining room, so if you wish to eat with your pet then the bar will accommodate you all together. We can also serve you breakfast in the bar if you want your dog with you.
